Over forty current and former Republicans in Arizona’s 6th District have rallied behind our campaign and endorsed my candidacy to represent Arizona’s Sixth District in Congress. These voters from all across the district join the diverse coalition of support we’ve been building since day one: Democrats, Independents, and Republicans will help us win this race on Election Day. I am grateful for the support of each and every person on this list, and, once elected, I will work as an independent thinker and go to work on the issues that impact their families. I’m incredibly proud to acknowledge and share their support!

Sharon Bieniek, Scottsdale; William and Marsha Bowman, Phoenix; Ronald Brissette, Phoenix; Cindy Brophy, Phoenix; John Burkell, Phoenix; Joan Burtnett, Scottsdale; Kent Derdivanis, Scottsdale; Susan Fuchs, Phoenix; Shannon Gallo, Phoenix; Mildred Gideon, Phoenix; Kathleen Griffin, Scottsdale; Laurie Hawkes, Scottsdale; Alice Hernandez, Phoenix; Lisa Huston, Phoenix; Jeff Kinney, Scottsdale; Matt Lenox, Phoenix; Kenneth and Christine Mann, Scottsdale; Pat and Ronda McWhorter, Cave Creek; Holly Meyer, Phoenix; Amy Pasano, Phoenix; Kristin Piotrowski, Scottsdale; Thomas Racioppo, Scottsdale; Thomas Rawles, Carefree; Robert and Kelly Scott, Phoenix; Rustan and Sarah Sharer, Phoenix; Shalini Singh, Scottsdale; Stephen Slogoff, Phoenix; Baron Smith, Phoenix; John Smith, Scottsdale; Kimberly Smith, Scottsdale; Patricia Smith, Scottsdale; Clifford Strang Jr., Scottsdale; Mitchell Svor, Scottsdale; Thomas Tomczak, Scottsdale; Dennis and Dana Winokur, Scottsdale.

Our campaign and this race isn’t about politics, it’s about people. Always has been, always will be. I strongly believe that it’s not the letter next to someone’s name, but the issues that they’ll fight for, that truly matters. On day one, I’ll roll up my sleeves and get to work on the issues that are of greatest concern to Arizona families: access to quality, affordable healthcare for every American; an economy and tax code that is fair for middle class families, small businesses, and retirees; a data-driven plan to combat the coronavirus pandemic; a strategy aligned with public health guidelines to get people back to work safely and rebuild our economy.

Susan Fuchs, a longtime resident of Phoenix, said, “Emergency physician Hiral Tipirneni has spent years putting patients first. She’s proved she has the intelligence, quality, and character we need in Congress.” Holly Meyer of Phoenix added that she likes “to support good, sound science and logic. I’d like to see some lifetime politicians step aside.”

Phoenix’s Matt Lenox underscored the importance of more “strong, smart women in leadership,” stating “Hiral Tipirneni will make me proud that I stepped across the line to vote for her and I think she’ll make all Arizonans proud as she represents us in the House.”

Others cited my opponent’s eleven ethics violations, for which he was unanimously reprimanded by the entire House of Representatives. “For too long, AZ-06 has been represented by a man with no integrity. By admitting to eleven counts of federal election fraud, David Schweikert has diminished the standing of AZ-06, and Dr. Hiral Tipirneni exhibits the kind of integrity that our district deserves,” said longtime Scottsdale resident Jeff Kinney. Another Republican said she was “appalled that our Republican Congressman has been fined $50,000 for eleven self-serving ethics violations.”

William and Marsha Bowman, residents of Phoenix, attended an event of mine in early 2019 and left impressed. They “met me and believe me to be sincerely concerned for Arizona and the country.”

Scottsdale’s Christine Mann put it succinctly: “It’s simple. It is time to replace Schweikert with someone who will put us first.”

I’m not a career politician or a Washington insider. I don’t take corporate PAC money, I won’t engage in partisan games, and I will actually listen to experts, respect science, and follow the data. As an ER physician, I never asked whether my patients were Democrats or Republicans. I asked what problems they had and then worked on solving those problems. My professional work, whether in the ER or in cancer research advocacy or on the Valleywise Health Foundation, has always focused on solving complex problems in order to protect others’ health and overall wellbeing. If given the honor and responsibility of representing the families of Arizona’s 6th congressional district, I’ll focus on those very same priorities in Congress.
